The Journal of the American College of Cardiology has released a study exploring the key factors women account for less than 10% of clinical cardiac electrophysiology (EP) fellows.

Compared with men, women are more negatively influenced by a multitude of factors, including concerns about radiation exposure, the professional work environment, and the risk of discrimination/harassment when it comes to choosing EP as a career choice.
